Peter Morris   

Chief Executive

Peter joined the NHS in 1979, and has had overall responsibility the Trust since 2002. Prior to this he held management positions in hospitals in Kent, Sussex, Leicester, Cardiff and Sheffield. He was Chief Executive at Ipswich Hospitals NHS Trust.

 

 

Mrs Nora Ann Heery

Director of Finance and Deputy Chief Executive

Nora Ann was appointed in March 2006. She has five years experience as Acute Director of Finance at Aintree Hospital NHS Trust, and seven years experience as Director of Finance in Community Mental Health Trust. She joined the NHS as National Finance Trainee in 1983 after gaining a BSC in Economics. She is a member of the Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.

 

 

Brendan Ryan                    

Medical Director  

Brendan has been with the Trust since 1987, and started work as an A&E consultant in 1992. As well as continuing his work in emergency care, as the Trust’s Medical Director, Brendan provides medical advice and expertise to the Trust’s management board and takes the lead on medical issues.

 

 

Paul Featherstone

Director of Estates & Facilities

Paul is a trained chartered surveyor and has spent his whole career working within the NHS. He has been at the Trust since July 2003 where he has held responsibility for financing and building new clinical departments. Paul attended Salford University where he completed a degree and a Masters degree.



 

Mandy Bailey

Chief Nurse

Mandy has been with the Trust since 1 January 2007, and has held a variety of clinical and managerial roles in Acute Hospitals. She is a registered general and children’s nurse. Mandy provides nursing advice and takes a clinical lead on issues including infection control and the patient experience.
